Mumbai Crime Branch has arrested Pravin Gami, 50, for allegedly black-marketing government-subsidised food grains intended for public distribution. Raids on two godowns in Andheri led to the seizure of food grains and three vehicles, valued at approximately 26 lakh. Gami, described as a habitual offender with previous cases, allegedly stored and sold welfare ration in the open market. Investigations are ongoing to uncover further network members.
