Man Arrested for Allegedly Stabbing Wife to Death in Mumbai's Andheri East

A 46-year-old man, Rajesh Eknath Chhatre, was arrested in Mumbai's Andheri East for allegedly stabbing his wife, Panchbhila Rajesh Chhatre, 38, to death following a domestic dispute on February 28. The incident occurred around 4:30 pm near Aradhya Hospital on Sagbaug Road. An auto-rickshaw driver witnessed the attack and reported it to police. The accused fled but was arrested shortly after midnight on March 1. The murder weapon was recovered, and investigations are ongoing.
