Two Killed and Five Injured in Attack by Gang in Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu

In Tirunelveli's Nanguneri area, two men, including a migrant worker from Odisha, were killed and five others injured in an attack by a nine-member gang on Monday night. The victims were at a tea shop when assailants on motorcycles allegedly used sickles and other weapons. Police have formed special teams to investigate and apprehend the culprits. Locals protested, demanding arrests and threatening to boycott upcoming elections. The opposition AIADMK criticized the ruling DMK government for negligence and called for strict action.
