Delhi and Haryana Police Conduct Pre-Holi Crackdowns Targeting Criminal Activities

Ahead of Holi, Delhi and Haryana police launched coordinated operations targeting habitual offenders, bootleggers, drug peddlers, and other criminals. Delhi Police's 'Operation Aaghat 4.0' resulted in around 4,000 individuals rounded up, with over 975 preventive detentions and 204 arrests under various laws. Haryana's 'Operation Aakraman-21' saw 1,048 arrests and 461 FIRs registered. Both states seized illicit liquor, drugs, illegal arms, and recovered stolen property to ensure peaceful festival celebrations.
