A 32-year-old man, Jay Prakash, was seriously injured after being stabbed by an unidentified assailant in East Delhi's New Ashok Nagar on Saturday. He was brought to Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital with stab wounds and subsequently referred to AIIMS Trauma Centre for specialized care. Prakash alleged he was assaulted near Kondli Pul. Police have registered a case under Section 109(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and are examining CCTV footage and gathering local intelligence to identify the attacker and probe all angles, including personal enmity.
