A cab driver, Mandeep Singh, was killed in a road accident near Mohali's Aerocity on January 1 when a tractor reversed into his vehicle. Singh was taken to PGIMER, Chandigarh, where he succumbed to his injuries. Police have registered a case against the tractor driver under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for causing death by negligence and rash driving. Investigations are ongoing to apprehend the driver and reconstruct the incident.
