Pune Police Book Software Professional for Creating Fake PMPML Bus Pass App

Pune police have booked a 24-year-old software professional, Kaustubh Shailesh Manjrekar, for allegedly creating a fake mobile app resembling the official PMPML app to generate forged daily bus passes. The case surfaced after a passenger was caught with a suspicious digital pass during checks conducted while the original PMPML app was temporarily disabled. Authorities seized technical devices and are investigating the extent of the financial loss caused to PMPML.
