A physically challenged woman was allegedly raped in Odisha's Puri district on Friday night. Police reported that a middle-aged man forcibly entered her home in the Brahmagiri police station area while her family was away. The accused has been detained, and a case has been registered under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). The victim has undergone medical examination and her statement recorded. BJD leader Sanjay Das Burma has called for stringent action against the accused.
