A 40-year-old man, Sathyaraj, has been arrested by Porur police for allegedly beating his wife, Rosy, to death following a domestic quarrel. The incident occurred after the couple's children informed their aunt about a fight. Police found Rosy unconscious with injury marks and she was later declared dead at a hospital. The accused, reportedly under the influence of alcohol, allegedly thrashed his wife and fled the scene before being apprehended.
