
Six people, including three women, died and seven others were injured when a double-decker sleeper bus collided with a van on the Yamuna Expressway near Hathras, Uttar Pradesh, early on March 3. The van, carrying 13 passengers from Prem Nagar, Delhi, to Dholpur, Rajasthan, was hit from behind by the bus traveling from Noida to Gorakhpur. The van's driver escaped unharmed. Injured passengers, including children, were hospitalized, with some referred to SN Medical College in Agra. Police have detained the bus driver and others for questioning, and investigations are ongoing.
