The CBI has filed a chargesheet in a Mohali court against four Punjab Police inspectors, including main accused Ronnie Singh, in connection with the alleged assault on Army officer Colonel Pushpinder Singh Bath and his son. The incident occurred in March over a parking dispute at a Patiala eatery. Colonel Bath accused police personnel of assaulting him and his son, causing injuries. The chargesheet includes grievous hurt and wrongful restraint, but not an attempt to murder charge. The Punjab and Haryana High Court had transferred the probe to the CBI due to concerns about a fair investigation.
