A 25-year-old law student has been arrested in Mumbai for allegedly operating a fake villa rental scam. The student, identified as Akash Jadhwani, posed as 'Nishant Ahuja' and advertised a Lonavala villa on social media. He convinced a professional to pay Rs 1.5 lakh for a two-day booking. After claiming the booking was cancelled, he failed to issue a refund. Jadhwani was already in police custody for a similar offense and is suspected to be involved in 10-15 other cases.
