Bodies of a woman, her mother, and son were cremated a week after their alleged suicide, following a week-long standoff. A case was registered against 10 individuals based on a video recorded by the deceased. While some villagers protested to cancel charges, the victims' kin demanded arrests and murder charges. Farmer unions were divided, with some supporting the suspects and others backing the kin's demands. The Special Investigation Team (SIT) will now investigate the case.
