Pune's Viman Nagar area saw an early morning raid by the State Excise Department on The Noir pub. Acting on a tip-off, officials found the establishment operating without a valid license and hosting an illegal party. Legal action was taken against 52 individuals present, including 42 customers and ten pub managers, two of whom were remanded to judicial custody. The pub owner is currently absconding. Seized items, including foreign liquor bottles, furniture, and equipment, are valued at over Rs 3.67 lakh. The raid is part of intensified enforcement ahead of New Year celebrations.
