
Devraj Chahar, a 40-year-old advocate practicing at Jhajjar District Courts for over ten years, was stabbed near Chhara Chungi in Jhajjar on Wednesday night. He was called there under the pretext of discussing a case and attacked with a sharp-edged weapon. After initial treatment at a local hospital, he was referred to PGIMS Rohtak, where he died. Police have registered a murder case against four accused and formed teams to arrest them. Jhajjar and Bahadurgarh Bar Associations suspended work, demanding swift justice.
