Farmer Arrested for Shooting Labourer Dead Over Financial Dispute in Jalandhar

In Jalandhar's Ghurka village, a farmer named Jaspreet Singh allegedly shot and killed migrant labourer Manoj over a financial dispute. The altercation escalated at a tractor workshop, where Manoj reportedly attacked Jaspreet with an iron rod before Jaspreet fired his licensed revolver, hitting Manoj twice. Police arrested Jaspreet promptly and recovered the weapon. The deceased's body was sent for post-mortem, and investigations continue based on the victim's wife's statement.
