Witch Doctor Arrested for Alleged Rape of Minor in Jharkhand

In Jharkhand's West Singhbhum district, a 57-year-old ojha (witch doctor) was arrested for allegedly raping a 17-year-old girl after being called to cure her sick brother using black magic. The ojha performed rituals and sent the boy and mother away before the assault. The victim reported the incident upon her mother's return. Police noted the accused had a prior rape conviction from 2014 and charged him under relevant laws.
