Police in Delhi have filed a rape case following the dying confession of a 16-year-old girl who died from tuberculosis. The girl, who had run away from home at 15, alleged she was persuaded to live with a woman, then taken to Rajasthan and married to a 23-year-old man who subsequently raped and assaulted her. She reportedly fled him in October and was found in poor health in Panipat before returning to Delhi. Police are investigating the suspects named by the girl.
