A 45-year-old man, identified as Vakeel, was discovered dead in a field in Ghaziabad's Sultanpur village, with a blood-stained hammer found near his body. Police suspect he was bludgeoned to death and have sent the body for a post-mortem. In a separate incident in the same district, skeletal remains of a 12-year-old boy, Luvish, missing for two months, were found in Samaypur village.
