Four pedestrians were killed and nine injured in a bus accident outside Mumbai's Bhandup railway station on Monday evening. An eyewitness, Saimini Mudaliyar, attributed the accident to sidewalk encroachment by hawkers, forcing pedestrians onto the road. Police confirmed the casualties included pedestrians and stated the investigation would examine all angles, including the driver's condition. This incident follows a similar fatal accident involving a BEST electric bus last year.
