17-Year-Old Girl Dies in Ludhiana After Truck Hits Scooter; Driver Flees

A 17-year-old Class 11 student named Rashmi from Nalanda district, Bihar, died after a speeding truck hit the scooter she was riding with her father near Mata Rani Chowk in Ludhiana. The truck driver fled the scene, leaving the vehicle behind. An e-rickshaw driver took Rashmi to the hospital, but she died en route. Police are investigating and trying to locate the truck's owner and driver. Rashmi had come to Ludhiana for Holi and was heading to catch a train for her exams.
