Telangana ACB Conducts Raids in Disproportionate Assets Probe of Deputy Collector

The Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) is conducting coordinated raids at around 10 locations linked to suspended Deputy Collector A. Venkat Reddy, who was arrested in December 2025 for accepting a Rs 60,000 bribe related to a school contract renewal. Following initial seizures including cash and property documents, the ACB launched a disproportionate assets investigation into Reddy's wealth, suspected to exceed his official income. Searches are ongoing across Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy, and Warangal districts as the probe continues.
