
An intoxicated man scaled the Sri Govindaraja Swamy Temple gopuram in Tirumala, damaging two kalashams before being apprehended after a three-hour operation. The man, identified as Kuttadi Tirupati from Telangana, reportedly demanded liquor and refused to descend until provided with alcohol. Police and fire personnel used ladders and ropes to safely bring him down. He was taken into custody, and temple authorities will assess the damage to the kalashams. No injuries were reported.
