Goa Police File Chargesheet Against 13 in Birch by Romeo Lane Nightclub Fire

Goa police have filed a 4,150-page chargesheet against 13 individuals, including the owners and employees of Birch by Romeo Lane nightclub, in connection with the December 6, 2025 fire in Arpora that killed 25 people and injured several others. The chargesheet, submitted to the Judicial Magistrate First Class, Mapusa, includes statements from 305 witnesses. Among the accused are club partners Ajay Gupta, Gaurav and Saurabh Luthra, former local panchayat officials, event management staff, and a British national currently evading arrest with a Blue Corner Notice issued against him.
