The Bombay High Court has dismissed a woman's plea to reopen a rape and criminal intimidation case against JSW Group chairman Sajjan Jindal. The woman had challenged a magistrate's order accepting the police's closure report. The court stated that a magistrate cannot force police to change their opinion on a closure report, especially when the complainant does not wish to contest the case. The police closure report cited a lack of evidence and delay in filing the complaint.
