Man Attacked with Machete in Bengaluru Following Instagram Dispute

In Bengaluru's Basaveshwaranagar on February 27, a 42-year-old apparel store manager, Gopi K, was attacked with a machete by Suresh, husband of Gopi's former colleague Ashwini. The dispute began after Gopi received a message from an Instagram account appearing to be Ashwini's, leading to a phone call from Suresh who accused Gopi of messaging his wife. Following abusive calls and warnings from Ashwini's mother, Suresh allegedly assaulted Gopi outside his workplace. The suspect is currently absconding, and police have registered a case and launched a search.
