Investigation Continues in Nancy Guthrie Disappearance Amid Ransom Emails and Skull Fragment Discovery
Nancy Guthrie, mother of TV host Savannah Guthrie, has been missing since February 1 after being taken from her Tucson home. Investigations continue with no suspects named. Authorities found a skull fragment in Oro Valley, though its connection to the case is unconfirmed. Retired FBI agent Jennifer Coffindaffer received four ransom emails demanding bitcoin and featuring an AI-generated image of Guthrie, which she reported to the FBI. Officials consider the emails likely scams possibly linked to similar demands made to Guthrie's neighbor.
