A 33-year-old man, Jagir Miah, was arrested in Agartala under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) for alleged links to 'Imam Mahmude Kafila,' an offshoot of the banned JMB network. Police stated Miah used digital platforms for communication and radicalization. Separately, residents in Agartala held a candle march demanding justice for Anjel Chakma, who died after an attack in Dehradun.
