A restaurant owner in Maharashtra's Latur district was beaten to death after refusing to sell liquor and cigarettes to three men. The incident occurred late Friday night at BN Bar and Restaurant when the owner, Gajanan Namdev Kasle, denied the request, leading to an argument and subsequent fatal assault with a stick. Kasle's employee, Ajay Bharat More, was also injured while intervening. The attackers stole liquor and cash before fleeing. Police apprehended three suspects within hours using CCTV footage and other inputs.
