Multiple Financial Frauds in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai Lead to Crore-Scale Losses

Multiple cyber fraud cases in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai have resulted in significant financial losses. A senior SBI Life Insurance manager lost Rs 41.65 lakh through a fake share trading app scam, while a branch manager was duped of Rs 47.99 lakh by fraudsters impersonating law enforcement officials. Additionally, SBI's CBD Belapur branch was defrauded of Rs 6.90 crore via 51 fake personal loans using forged PSU documents. Separately, a credit society chairman and associates were booked for cheating a digital marketing firm of Rs 25 lakh in a loan fraud case. Investigations and FIRs have been registered in all cases.
