Kanadiya police in Indore seized Rs 1.18 crore in unaccounted cash from an SUV during a routine check. Three occupants were detained after they failed to provide documentation or a satisfactory explanation for the large sum found in the trunk. The individuals claimed the money belonged to Safelex International Ltd. and Mantram Techo Fab Pvt. Ltd. The Income Tax Department has been informed to investigate the source of the funds.
