The killing of Tripura student Anjel Chakma in Dehradun has sparked conflicting accounts between his family and police. The family alleges a racially motivated attack, citing racist slurs like 'Chinese momo' used by the assailants. Dehradun Police, however, state their investigation has found no evidence of racial abuse, attributing the assault to a heat-of-the-moment altercation. A Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been formed, and a reward is offered for the main accused who remains at large.
