Robbers stole approximately 80 lakh worth of silver jewelry from a Jalandhar shop on Sunday night, with the incident captured on CCTV. Over a dozen individuals reportedly cut open the shop's shutter to gain entry. Following the theft, local Congress and BJP leaders, along with traders, protested the deteriorating law and order situation in the Jalandhar west constituency. Former AAP MLA Sheetal Angural, now with BJP, criticized the police and administration, citing increased crime and drug availability.
