Man Arrested in Maharashtra for Firing Incident Linked to Love Marriage Dispute

A 52-year-old man, Umesh alias Pralhad Gharat, was arrested in Yavatmal district for allegedly firing at Suresh Raja Warkhande, the father of Pritesh Warkhande, over a dispute related to Pritesh's love marriage to a woman raised by Gharat. The incident occurred on February 23 in Palghar, Maharashtra. Gharat reportedly opposed the marriage, assaulted Pritesh and his wife, and attempted to harm them with chilli powder. Police used technical analysis and intelligence to apprehend the accused after a manhunt.
