Manipur Security Forces Arrest Four Militants, Destroy Illicit Poppy Cultivation

Security forces in Manipur arrested four militants from banned groups, including a woman from the People's Liberation Army, recovering Rs 1 lakh in extortion money. The arrests occurred across Imphal West and Bishnupur districts. Concurrently, joint teams destroyed nearly 65 acres of illicit poppy cultivation in Kangpokpi and Churachandpur districts, demolishing related farming materials. The detainees and seized items have been handed over to local police for further action.
