
A multi-vehicle collision on Haryana's Kundli-Manesar-Palwal Expressway on January 18 caused two deaths and significant traffic disruption. The accident occurred near Sabras and Gudhi villages when a vehicle abruptly braked amid dense fog, triggering a chain reaction involving five vehicles, including gravel-loaded trucks and a container carrying goods. Two men, a truck driver and his helper from Rajasthan, were trapped and died as two trucks caught fire. Firefighters took about two hours to control the blaze, and traffic was restored after nearly four hours. Police are investigating and searching for vehicles that fled the scene.
