A 32-year-old man, Dhawal Rajput, was killed on December 27 when a speeding private bus struck his motorcycle on the Western Express Highway in Malad. Rajput sustained severe head injuries and died during treatment at Shatabdi Hospital. The Dindoshi police have registered a case against the unidentified bus driver for causing death due to rash negligence and are searching for the driver.
