Four Drown During Picnic at Kashyapi Dam in Nashik, Two-Year-Old Rescued
Four people, including a couple and two teenagers, drowned at Kashyapi dam in Nashik district, Maharashtra, during a picnic on Tuesday evening. The victims were Sachin Kailas Thombre, his pregnant wife Rohini, and two neighborhood boys, Ketan and Kaushal Pawar. A two-year-old girl from the Thombre family was rescued by a passerby, Sangita Ghadge. Authorities have registered an accidental death case and are investigating the incident, though the exact cause of drowning remains unclear.
