A court in Jagtial has sentenced six individuals, including the wife of the deceased, to life imprisonment for the brutal murder of software engineer Racherla Pawan Kumar in November 2020. The victim was reportedly set on fire after petrol was poured on him. The prosecution stated the murder was a pre-planned conspiracy stemming from family disputes. One accused died after the case was registered. The court imposed a fine of ₹10,000 on each of the six convicted.
