A 15-year-old boy, Abhishek, alleged he was kidnapped by local youths for a Rs 20,000 ransom. He claims he was forcibly taken, beaten, and made to confess to drug supply on video. Police, however, stated it was not a kidnapping but an assault due to old grudges between the victim and suspects, who knew each other from past work. A case has been registered against the assailants.
