Syrian Refugee Sentenced to 13 Years for Berlin Holocaust Memorial Stabbing

A 20-year-old Syrian refugee was sentenced to 13 years in prison by a Berlin court for stabbing a 30-year-old Spanish tourist at the Holocaust Memorial in February 2025. The court convicted him of attempted murder and attempted membership in a foreign terrorist organization, citing his support for the Islamic State.
