Fire at Delhi Restaurant Causes LPG Explosions; Elderly Woman Rescued, No Casualties
A fire broke out early Sunday at the Punjabi Tadka restaurant in Delhi's Kalkaji area, involving a building with a basement, ground floor, three upper floors, and a temporary terrace structure. The blaze triggered explosions in three commercial LPG cylinders, intensifying the fire. Firefighters deployed nine units and rescued a 70-75-year-old woman trapped on the second floor. The fire was controlled by 5:40 am, with no casualties reported. The cause remains under investigation, with a short circuit suspected.
