A sub-inspector in Uttar Pradesh's Gonda district was arrested for allegedly accepting a Rs 10,000 bribe. The arrest was made by the Devipatan division's anti-corruption team. The sub-inspector, Harishchandra Mishra, was accused by a local resident, Brijesh Yadav, who had filed a complaint against five individuals for assault.
