Armed Gang Robs Two Houses in Beed District, Injures Local Youth

In Beed district's Kavadgaon village, a gang of four to five armed men looted valuables and cash worth over Rs 2.16 lakh from two houses, threatening residents with violence. A local youth who resisted was seriously injured with an iron rod. This marks the fourth major dacoity in four months. Police have initiated a search, while villagers and the Gram Panchayat urge authorities to install CCTV cameras to enhance security amid investigation challenges due to lack of surveillance.
