Manipur Police Arrest Militants and Suspects, Seize Arms and Contraband in Multiple Operations

Security forces in Manipur conducted multiple operations resulting in the arrest of several militants and suspects linked to banned insurgent groups, including the People's Liberation Army (PLA), Kangleipak Communist Party (Taibanganba), and People's Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak (PREPAK). Among those detained was a female PLA recruiter. Authorities seized weapons such as a country-made rocket, firearms, explosives, heroin, and illegal opium. Additionally, individuals were arrested for extortion, bank robbery, and possession of contraband, with recovered items handed over for legal action.
