UP Man Arrested for Faking Death by Killing Debtor to Avoid Rape Trial

In Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, four individuals including Arjun were arrested for conspiring to fake Arjun's death by killing his debtor, Rohit, and burning the body in a car. Arjun, facing a rape trial in Dehradun and fearing conviction, planned this to evade sentencing. The burnt car was found on February 25, leading to police investigation and arrests on February 28. Authorities stated Arjun had lent money to Rohit, who owed Rs 1.7 lakh, motivating the murder and deception.
