
A fire broke out in a warehouse in Kankor village, Pilibhit, Uttar Pradesh, reportedly caused by a short circuit. A man named Omkar, aged 55, who was sleeping inside, died, likely due to suffocation from the fire and toxic fumes. Firefighters controlled the blaze after efforts to open the warehouse shutter. Police are investigating the incident, and the body has been sent for post-mortem examination, according to SHO Pradeep Bishnoi.
