Delhi Police Arrests 854 in 48-Hour Multi-State Anti-Organized Crime Operation

Delhi Police conducted a 48-hour 'Operation Gang Bust 2026' targeting organized crime syndicates across six states, arresting 854 individuals and registering 690 FIRs. The operation, involving over 9,000 personnel, aimed to dismantle criminal networks and prevent disruptions ahead of Republic Day. Raids on over 4,000 hideouts led to the apprehension of gangsters, shooters, and facilitators, with significant recoveries of arms, ammunition, cash, and narcotics. The crackdown focused on major and minor gangs operating in Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh.
