A Delhi court extended the National Investigation Agency's custody of five accused, including three doctors and a maulvi, in the Red Fort blast case until January 16, 2026. The NIA cited the need to confront the accused with co-suspects and witnesses over contradictory points and to analyze incriminating material and code words from seized digital devices. The blast on November 10, 2025, involved a suicide bomber and resulted in 15 deaths. The agency aims to uncover a larger conspiracy and identify additional suspects.
