A special court in Mumbai has issued notices to Nirav Modi's brothers, Neeshal and Nehal Modi, and senior executives Aditya Nanavati and Sandeep Mistry, asking them to explain why they should not be declared fugitive economic offenders (FEO) in the Punjab National Bank scam. The Enforcement Directorate alleges their involvement in money laundering and fraudulent transactions linked to the Rs 13,850–23,780 crore fraud. Nehal Modi, arrested in the US, is contesting extradition, while Nirav Modi and Mehul Choksi face ongoing extradition proceedings abroad. Responses to the notices are due by May 7.
